Der 1. März, die Frau und das Märzchen other

Märzchen Mit dem die Bevölkerung in Rumänien begrüßt den Month of March as the beginning of spring. For many centuries, is celebrated on 1 March, a celebration of victory of good over evil. The cold season is over, the forces of nature to rise.
It is believed that the origins of the festival come from Rome, when the New Year was celebrated on the first of March, on the birthday of the God of Martius, god of agriculture and a symbol of the rebirth of nature. The
Martisor is typically given away for March 1 and it consists of a red and white cord, usually with a small trailer, and is often attached to a blouse or other garment. The men put their wives little surprises with flowers or lucky symbols in the form of a trailer (four-leaf clover, horseshoe, chimney, birds, animals), fitted with a red and white string.
It symbolizes the spring and is given away by relatives or close friends, often with a snowdrop, to women and children. This custom dates from pre-Christian times by the natives of Romania. The colors red and white symbolize the snow and the sun, the transition from winter to spring, the contradictions of life.
Man with the Martisor until you see a flowering tree, then throws it into the tree and wants etwas.Eine similar Tradition, "Martenitsa", it is the first of March in Bulgaria.
The old Dochia
The name seems to originate from the Byzantine calendar. On the first of March, the feast day of St. Evdokia is celebrated. In the Romanian legends says that long ago the son was an evil old woman named Dochia, who married against the wishes of his mother. In order to torment her daughter decided Dochia, these undergo the first of March a series of tests: You should go to the river and wash black wool as long to do this would be, and looking at the still cold season ripe berries. God took pity on the daughter and helped her to do both tasks. As Dochia saw the berries, she thought the spring had come, and broke with their goats to pasture on the mountains. As a precaution, they had put on nine sheep fur. But God sent rain, and the old man took off a jacket after another. As the rain turned into snow, and the frost left them and their goats to ice freeze and eventually turned them to stone. These fossilized forms, hikers can still in the Bucegi Mountains states in the Carpathian Mountains begegnen.Die Romanian tradition that the first nine days of March therefore alternate Weather predominates, because each takes off Dochia a sheepskin coat and shake off the rain or snow. Today selects all Romanians one of the first nine days of March as "old man", and it is said that his happiness depends on the remainder of the calendar year by the weather of the day: If the selected day well, it means the same for the entire year, the day is cloudy, is also the year not as good.
On 1 March is the Romanian Cultural Institute (Argentinierstr. 39, 1040 Vienna) and your Martisor day for you. We are pleased to offer the little signs of spring to pay. But do not come too late. Martisor there's only so long as supplies last.

80th BUGS BUNNY IN CINEMA

Is the "old" television version of the Looney Tunes have hardly referred to, it is with the movies even more difficult. While diving, as already mentioned, again and again posters, lobby cards, listing Matern and film programs, but these usually provide only little information about the content of the films.

program notes as "Illustrierte Film-stage" and "New Film" program often show only the smaller lobby cards and do not necessarily reflect the press release. Original titles of the cartoons are hardly mentioned. Interestingly, however, the figures for the film "The Bugs Bunny Show" are, however, these scenes from the American TV show that were not sent by the ZDF.

HAPPY BIRTHDAY BUGS

(50 Looney Years)

Bugs Bunnys 50. Geburtstag markierte in Deutschland den Übergang von den öffentlich-rechtlichen Sendern zu den Privaten, in diesem Fall Pro7. At the time, bought the stations vigorously to vollzukriegen their program. Almost all the series, mainly from the U.S., continued or re-synchronized. Sat.1 picked up include "The Flintstones" and "Star Trek (the next century) and missed the German on the missing episodes a new tone. Turn-taking were there almost inevitable. Pro7 began again, "Bill Cosby's Family Ties" and had continued after the new episodes of the ZDF sent out by the first seasons at again. This changed the German voice of Bill Cosby's Joachim Kemmer to Engelbert of Nordhausen. In addition, you could hear the typical sitcom laughs in all the episodes now, so that a Continuity has been maintained.

And even with Bugs Bunny should not fail to change. Apparently, several bugs have been purchased Bunny specials and the main role with Gudo Hoegel (known as a ger voice of Darkwing Duck and Scott Bakula) occupied. This is the sound of Bugs Bunny and Mel Blanc but pretty close, but a discontinuity is still just a fraction. Why not put on Gerd Vespermann today is barely out. After all, Daffy Duck and Yosemite Sam still retained their normal voices (Kursawe Dieter and Walter Reichelt). Although the ideas were Germanized in Munich, with important roles in Berlin and speakers came into play. In the case of "Happy Birthday Bugs" are the Dieter Kursawe als Daffy Duck und Engelbert von Nordhausen als Bill Cosby.

Bugs Bunny - Gudo Hoegel
Daffy Duck - Dieter Kursawe
Off-Stimme (und Mel Blanc) - Leon Rainer
Reporter (Joe Garagiola) - Norbert Gastell
Yosemite Sam - Walter Reichelt
Chuck Jones - Fred Maire
Bill Cosby - Engelbert von Nordhausen
Whoopie Goldberg - Regina Lemnitz
John Lithgow - Randolf Kronberg

Das Special besteht neben Ausschnitten from the Looney Tunes mainly from congratulating the former Hollywood celebrities. Sun including Hulk Hogan, Chuck Norris, William Shatner came (Star Trek, TJ Hooker), Jon Voight, Fred Savage (Wonder Years), George Peppard (A-Team), John Goodman (Roseanne), Little Richard, Morgan Fairchild (Flamingo Road), Kirk Cameron (Growing Pains) and Pierce Brosnan (Remington Steele) to speak.

"Happy Birthday Bugs" also includes the compilation of "Fifty Years of Bugs Bunny in 3 1 / 2 Minutes" in 1989. This appeared in the UK and the U.S. as bonus material the DVD box "Looney Tunes Golden Collection" Vol fourth

Cartoons Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies IN THE ARD

that enough confusion of the Looney Tunes in the ZDF not yet out , the ARD was the one thing on top. All cartoons ran individually, usually without detailed announcement in the first or the third channels of ARD. Those responsible used a generic Merrie Melodies bias, even where they are Looney Tunes. Most of the German title was first displayed, then the in the original title passed. Depending on the broadcast also showed the generic title an "end" or the Turner Copyright 1995.

The transmitter emitted the cartoons from different, ie there were some cuts at the same cartoons in different places. Few had a German title overlay within the pictures, talk about the original title. The sound came from different sources. There are Bugs Bunny cartoons while coming clearly from the 1970s and were processed with the ZDF-Looney Tunes. One hears, for example in "Photo Safari" is not only Gerd Vespermann as Bugs Bunny and Elmer Fudd as Kurt Zips, but also a brief introduction by Walter Gross (Porky Pig) und klatschende Kinder.

In weiteren Nebenrollen sind Eberhard Storeck, to hear Gernot Duda and Klaus W. Krause. Daffy Duck was as usual busy with Dieter Kursawe.

showed addition to these sound version of the ARD but also cartoons with completely different synchronization. Would be contrary "My Little Buckaroo" and "Kitty Kornered" with the soundtrack of the video cassette purchase of MGM / UA. In very rare cases, Bugs Bunny, Daffy Duck and Porky Pig completely different, disguised voices that are not classified further. In one case, the actor lends his voice Lutz Mackensy Daffy Duck ("My Favorite Duck"). Mackensys voice known at least since "Miami Vice" (as Tubbs) and "CSI Miami" (Horatio).

unabridged Fully very few Looney Tunes and Merrie Melodies were in the ARD. Cartoons have all shown before a copyright of 1948 and thus belong to the Turner package. ZDF showed (with few, probably more random exceptions) cartoons after 1947, which belonged to the Warner Bros. Copyright.

Here are some of the reductions of the Looney Tunes in the ARD version: Jump Daffy and Egghead:

    Daffy Duck and Egghead
(Daffy Duck and Egghead) 0:26 to 0:51
    missing Intro from nutshells
dialogue-free scene is followed by a text panel is missing
4:28 to 4:41 Egghead Daffy hangs a sign reading "BLIND" order pushes him a cup with pencils in hand and says "Too sad, too sad!" (Example: "How sad!").

    Daffy Duck in Hollywood
    (Daffy Duck In Hollywood)
6:19 to 6:42 is missing here is a news clip about a boxing match. Interestingly, one hears in the ARD version on top Gerd Vespermann (read: Bugs Bunny) from the off, while fonts are displayed.

    The rabbits bet
(Tortoise Beats Hare) 0:28 to 1:16
Missing Start: Bugs Bunny goes to the title card, reading to see the credits, title, complained loudly about it and tears the title card.
The German title, however, was built in the original credits, so you can see the title card briefly in German. The sound version is a typical 1980s "my one" synchronization with Gerd Vespermann in the role of the hare.

    Ausgetrickst
    (Tortoise Wins By A Hare)
In the sequel to "Rabbit bet" Bugs Bunny has a different voice, not Gerd Vespermann. A voiceover at the beginning of the loop was replaced by the theme music, like, actually almost all ARD Looney Tunes. Also missing a short (dialog-free) scene where you see a sign with words.

    Gorilla my dreams
    (Gorilla My Dreams)
2:02 to 2:20 there is a missing piece of the lengthy scene in which the monkey with the barrel on the road.
Bugs sings a song the whole time. The German song is shorter and not really a highlight, even if the voice of Bugs Gerd Vespermann.

    If dancing the can

    (September In The Rain)
The cartoon from 1937 is in the ARD version cut by almost half. It is missing two long scenes with black characters (could possibly be gone already in the U.S. in this form).

    Who chases who?
    (The Heckling Hare)
There is a brief scene in which the dog and Bugs Bunny grimace before they reach the lake. Dialogue-free and almost a minute long. The dog is spoken by Gernot Duda. Bugs Bunny thresh out his typical phrase: "Well, what's up?" and speaks of "your one". Consequently, it can clearly say that the German track is from the 1980s.

Bugs Bunny is in the air
    (Falling Hare)
At the very beginning the on-screen labels are missing at the airport. Otherwise, the cartoon is in full, with the ARD-copy minimum two accidental cuts (without dialogue) caused by film contains cracks.

    Unabridged ARD-Looney Tunes (Auswahl):
Rotkäppchen und der böse Hase (Little Red Riding Rabbit)
Im Spukschloss ist der Hase los (Hair-Raising Hare)
Wer sich mit fremden Streifen schmückt (Odor-Able Kitty)

Bugs Bunny is hired for television, but as a hunting destination for sports fans Elmer-hour. With all kinds of disguises and tricks the rabbit tries to thwart it. The ZDF has cut a total of four times. A few of the scenes come with special "Bugs Bunny's wacky world of television" before. Unfortunately, over the synchronization of ideas known nothing.

Elmer's announcement is originally much longer (and is included in the above Special), he gives a signal so that the rabbit comes out of his hole. As so often, there are cuts, while English texts to see, so in this case. The TV man holds a poster at the camera on the (translated) "A short break" is. 73rd Cats and Bruises

    single cartoon comparison ZDF/Pro7-Version /
    Original (Original Length: 6:28 min)
A relatively late Sylvester and Speedy cartoon in which many animation segments were recycled from older cartoons. The two protagonists provide the usual hunting. The ZDF has exceptionally never cut. Note, however, is Speedy's singing, which is not from Joachim Tennstedt. In addition comes right after the first song of the set of "Oops, we'll get you!", Also from the singing voice. This is not pitched and deeper than that of Joachim Tennstedt. This is the scene, as Sylvester pursues the couple with the boat mice.
