Austria 2009 deals with the 20 years since the fall of the Iron Curtain, through a series of celebrated public events behind which is the driving force, the Federal Ministry for European and International Affairs (MFA) has . " The result - a book that provides an overview of key moments in recent European history and will come as a textbook for use in Austrian schools. The book also includes a DVD with interviews, which reflect the key players of the year 1989, all former Eastern Bloc countries to the word. Through a collaboration of the Romanian Cultural Institute in Vienna and the BMEIA includes video footage and an interview with Mircea Dinescu, and images of December 1989 which have been the Robert Koch Institute Vienna on Romanian television provided.
