So, before really starts with the trip report ever on one of the best trips yet to produce a supplement to the things about which we reported yet:
on Friday - 09.11 we went ind 'Vokabar - is a small but fine ;-)
Bar on Sunday we visited - again ne Mädlsrunde (Gabi, Rita, Chris, Viki and I) Lenin's estate - located about 32km south of Moscow - there had the great revolutionary's last years of his life - to see gabs in the huge estate near the large park and some statues still his library, his dining / Abeits and the bedroom (which he, his sister and his wife - of course all in one's own is how it is ghört for that time), in the mourning room ne death mask (imprint of his hands and death mask and the mourning sashes) and in the Garage Lenin's Rolls-Royce - a vehicle absolutely horny! The car was equipped to be ready for use in winter with snow chains and ski (see photo), and run to make it in time of war may be it was powered by alcohol (up to 40km / h) in NEM 'small pavilion gabs then Lenin's replica of the Kremlin to see home and then we went with barely caught the last bus home again;

so and now the last Events:

On Wed evening - went off at about 22h-Sanin and Christiane (Wu'ler), Rasmus and Sune (two Danes) and Gabi and me: the train we went on to Kazan in Tatarstan - remove a town about 750 km from Moscow, after 13h train ride, which was accompanied by the loudest snoring sounds good, we arrived and we went to MacDonald's time to brush your teeth, to change clothes and make us fresh and to strengthen, then the luggage was stowed and we went for sight-seeing:

1. Kremlin - ne free guide got in there to-find "Kul Sharif mosque and were invited to come back ;-)
   
   

2. National Museum of Tatarstan

3. Peter-Paul Cathedral
   



4. University - studied here known personalities such as Leo Tolstoy and Vladimir Ilyich Ulyanov (better known as Lenin ;-)) - but finished second de-registered because of its revolutionary activities during his student days

Then it was dinner and back to the train - more 9am we reached Nizhny Novgorod - the city until 1990 closed to foreigners since the city was devoted to include the arms production; furthermore been in this city many dissidents and critics of the Russian system, u.a. der Physiker und Nobelpreisträger Andrej Sacharow "verbannt"; 1932 war die Stadt nach dem dort geborenen Schriftsteller Maxim Gorkij (gegen dessen Willen) in Gorkij umbenannt; Indem wir mal genug hatten vom Zuggerüttel das die Nachtruhe doch etwas störte, gings auf Hotelsuche - hatten ja rein gar nichts im Voraus gebucht/ geplant sondern nahmen alles wies halt kam - beim ersten Hotel, in das wir wortwörtlich "reinschneiten" (Schnee begleitete uns einfach durch und durch) war das Personal doch etwas überrascht - und folglich gabs kein Zimmer für uns; total durchfroren trafen wir dann vorm nächsten Kreml *G* auf einen alten Mann der früher ein bedeutender Offizier im Militär war und jetzt in his retirement still many important positions in the judiciary and the like takes, this was kind to us every 6 to squeeze inside in his car (no idea how it went with all the luggage ;-)) and to drive us to the next hotel - there gabs room for us, the quality was not fantastic but it felt good to shower again, Refreshed, we went back to the Sight-seeing:

1. Kremlin - Panzer exhibition (see photo), churches, eternal fire, views over the city
   


2. nice long passage with many figures - that was soooo sweet and beautiful - only way to spice up this still would have been the sale of mulled wine / punch / etc there ;-)
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
   
3. restaurant by its own beer was brewed

Total exhausted went back to the hotel where we slept and extensively force refueled, the next day to and from the station - this time because we did not have a train that would fit into our plan, it was looking bus, and luck was hold us back and we had one of us brought in 4 hours drive to our next destination " Vladimir ", in Bus of course we were again totally conspicuous - sit quietly while the Russians were like, we were "loving foreigners" wiedermal mit allen elektronischen Sachen , die irgendwie in den Rucksäcken Platz gehabt hatten (Laptop, MP3 Player,...) sowie allen essbaren und trinkbaren (*G*) auffindbaren Dingen beschäftigt; In Wladimir machten wir nur kurz Stop:

1. Spaziergang zur Demetrius Kathedrale von der keiner wirklich weiß wann sie gebaut worden war und die anscheinend viel Mystisches hat (wir merkten net allzu viel davon - aber es war dennoch nett mit ihr Bekanntschaft zu machen)
   
   
2. Mariä-Himmelfahrts-Kathedrale wo die Großfürsten gekrönt worden waren (manche von denen sind sogar noch in der Kathedrale - in einem mit Glas ausgestatteten Coffin they can be - now containing nimma in full bloom is because time has already left its mark - admire or even kiss - had 'the Russian visitors generally do)

By then late was, we went back to the bus stop and continue with the next bus to Suzdal - a small, elegant, beautiful village, this fairy tale city was already setting of many films, to 400 families come to the city with about 12,000 residents some 40 churches by now dark and was the rain but very strong , we headed quickly back to hostel search and found the right one in the monastery walls! Was eventually stayed in the city center Rizopolozhensy Monastery; arrived first wurde unser Abendessen (Borschtsch, Pelmeni, Blini, Wodka,...) für uns zubereitet, während wir gemütlich das Zimmer bezogen; gut gestärkt gings dann später noch einen Klub in der Nähe - mal ne richtig' russische Disco ;-)

Am Sonntag - der letzte Tag unsrer Tour - hatten wir dann schon etwas genug von all den Kirchen - immerhin hatten wir ja auch noch die letzte Nacht in Klostermäuern verbracht ;-) Um doch noch einiges zu sehn machten wir nen Spaziergang durch die Stadt, kauften neue warme Angorasocken und russische Schapkas, machten ne tolle Pferde-Schlittenfahrt und trafen unsre Kollegen (darunter auch da Armin), die das Wochenende in ner Datscha (Land-/Ferienhaus) had spent, with bag and baggage, we went again in the evening meal - found a great restaurant by enjoying the best recommendations of the operation, and a bottle Medowucha (drink made from honey, water and yeast) with almost the last money, the remaining Ruble 'were then even in a 4-hour bus ride home invested;

Summary: 5% Planning (the ;-) Ticket to Kazan, 100% fun !!!!!

Russisches Prüfungsverhalten und ein Stückchen Heimat...

By completing the last week have two fans, here to start a small excerpt from the experiences of this:

• logistics :

In Logstik bekamen wir einen Case vorgelegt, bei dem es hieß wir hätten nun ca. 20 min für den ersten Teil Zeit, danach bekämen wir die nächsten Fragen; ohne zu wissen dass dies die Klausur war begannen wir zu schreiben und tratschen; am Ende meinte die Lektorin wir sollen jetzt bitte abgeben, aber die, die noch net fertig sind, können die Fragen gern mit nach Hause nehmen und sie dann später mal abgeben; Für all jene die heut net da sind, schickt sie die Fragen per E-Mail an eine gemeinsame Adresse -> ja ... mehr gibts da wohl nimma dazu zu sagen ...

• National Economy

Mittwoch war die nächste Klausur; indem wir schon in der Vorlesung oft nicht wussten wovon der Lektor immer so sprach (wobei man sagen muss, dass rückblickend betrachtet zwischen dem vielen Wirr-Warr doch auch guter Input war - man muss ihn nur suchen!!) war es uns ein Rätsel was wir denn überhaupt lernen sollten ...
Gut erzogen wie wir sind konnten wir aber ohne jegliche Vorbereitung natürlich a net erscheinen ... und so gingen manche erst mal Stifte kaufen - schließlich könnte es ja sein dass man etwas zeichnen oder einfach nur schreiben müsste *g*

Um gute Plätze zu bekommen, beeilten wir uns am Morgen um pünktlich zu sein. Wiedermal lagen wir mit der Taktik total daneben. Der Lektor selbst schaffte es wieder seine üblichen 20min zu spät zu kommen und was die Studenten anbelangt - naja die übertreffen ihn ja sowieso immer - gehört irgendwie zum guten Ton einfach zu spät zu kommen;

Bevor er dann noch in die letzte Runde des Vortragens vor der Klausur ging, zeigte er die Liste mit den bisher gesammelten Punkten in dem Kurs; lt. Liste war die Hälfte aller Teilnehmer negativ, aber bei voller Punkteanzahl bei der Klausur könnten es 3/4 der Gruppe schaffen, den Kurs aufs erste Mal positiv abzuschließen. Bei vielen war die niedrige Punkteanzahl auf deren beständiges Fehlen zurückzuführen - was auch richtig augenscheinlich wurde, denn am Tag der Klausur waren unzählige - zu vor nie gesichtete - Menschen plötzlich in dem sonst so spärlich besuchten Kurs; Beim Schreiben der Klausur gings dann zu, des war a Wahnsinn - nun verstehn wir auch warum sich Russen nach wie vor als wahnsinnig kollektiv wahrnehmen!

Zusammenfassend die wichtigsten Vorbereitungen und Verhaltensregeln für eine Prüfungssituation à la russe:

1. Erkundigen wann die letzte Vorlesungsstunde stattfindet
2. Handy aufladen, sichergehen dass man genügend should credit has and knows the PIN code you have ever turned
3. Browse the online database in which all test and related Hilfszettelchen ready for printing (unfortunately only for Russian students IBS) - print! appear
4. With the right styling too late - shows that one is important and explains the urge to phone a little better

So far .... to previous tests

Am Freitag gabs zur Aufheiterung Besuch von daheim! Herr Zehetner (Andreas) war an der Plekhanov - nach dem ersten Treffen am Nachmittag (bzgl. Forschungsarbeit, Bakk-Arbeiten, Praktika,...), trafen wir uns am Abend erneut und ab gings ins MyMy um etwas russische Küche zu probiern. Gestärkt traten wir den Weg ins Heim an, wo wir uns gemütlich im "Common Room" versammelten um russische Stärke (Sport ist Mord - Wodka ist Stärke sagte einst einer der Securities bei unsrem Heim zu uns) und österreichische Süßigkeiten (danke für die Mozartkugeln Andreas!) zu genießen bevors dann später in den Klub ging;
Viel getanzt, gelacht und eine weitere Facette des russischen Night life discovered, made the last of us to 6h early again to have breakfast at home or on the way home properly - after 14 eggs but we went to bed but was called for all ;-)

On Saturday at 12am again - our package with the winter clothes arrived about 2 weeks and at the current temperature was the desire to keep this last in the arms already very large. So we struggled on us and met the man of the mother of our former Russ.-Prof. Elena (FH-Steyr). Had the 20kg (!) Kept well in his home and showered us with hospitality (salmon, bread, cakes, fruit, chocolate, the best tea we have enjoyed so far in Russia ,...) Unfortunately, we were still very weak from last night so we were not very talkative and our Russian net from the best side was - we hope not to have left a bad impression: - (

After we slept the rest of the day and the night quietly at home spent, on Sunday we went on a trip to the Novodevichy . - A Tsar Vasily III in 1514 by (the father of Ivan the Terrible) in honor of the conquest of Smolensk monastery founded by the Lithuanians, who were one of a ring of fortified monasteries surrounding Moscow. In 17Jh. was the monastery by the scheming half-sister of the late Tsar Peter Sofia the Great, who used the monastery as a second residence expanded. Later, she had to, as well as other women to Ivan had become too powerful - all remain here ;-) In Sofia it was banished because she had tried to overthrow him ("that is where women are supposed to be" as would a Danish colleague to this situation, say). Und heute - ja heut stand Erholen am Programm - indem gestern (4.11) ein Feiertag anlässlich der Oktoberrevolution anno dazumal gewesen wär, dieser aber auf einem Wochenende fiel wurde der einfach heut nachgholt - so wie alle Feiertage die irrtümlich auf ein Wochenende fallen -> des is mal eine Idee - sollten wir in Österreich auch einführen?!
