"Rabbit Fire" is the first cartoon of Elmer hunting trilogy, Bugs and Daffy as opponents. Whether duck or rabbit season, Daffy always draws the short straw. Unfortunately, the ZDF has also cut here. Although it is the missing sequence in "Bugs Bunny's wild audacious hunt", there is not, however, said Dieter Kursawe, but Erich Ebert for Daffy Duck. Als neusynchronisierter Einzelcartoon is "Rabbit Fire" auf der DVD Looney Tunes - Daffy Duck und Schweinchen Dick Collection von 2003 zu finden (Titel: "Die Jagdsaison ist eröffnet"). Zur Jagd-Trilogy des Regisseurs Chuck Jones gehören auch die Cartoons "Rabbit Seasoning" und "Duck! Rabbit, Duck!".
