67th ROOM AND BIRD
single cartoon comparison ZDF/Pro7-Version /
Original (Original Length: 6:35 min)
Tweety and Granny want to stay at the hotel. There are unwanted pets. Therefore Granny smuggles into her little bird under her skirt. Even Sylvester and his mistress move in. Sylvester gets a fur stole around mistress neck past the hotel detective.
The cartoon contains a minimal reduction, probably due to time constraints. For treatment technically lacking in principle nothing. Sylvester lands after the jump through the window at the head of the bulldog. As Sylvester starts running with the dog runs at him, so that the cat will notice none of it.
Tweety sings the way, this time a German version of "Bird In A Gilded Cage", which could be used quite well for the opening of "Putty Tat Trouble" . The gag with the mouse that comes out of Sylvester's stomach has, in the TV version a completely different translation. Literally, however, the version on Bugs Bunny Video Show 1 was ("pets allowed"). A neusynchronisierte version is on the DVD Looney Tunes - Best of Tweety and Sylvester. Thus there are at least three different German audio tracks.
